From the beginning to the end of your operation, Blue Wave Maritime has the spectrum of knowledge and expertise to provide the whole scope of maritime services.
We can identify what you need, produce an all-inclusive plan and provide Client Representation during the project to monitor and ensure adherence to the plan.
Getting the right vessels for your project is paramount to reaching those all-important deadlines. Weather days can prove to be a major source of down time, so we can source and audit vessels ensuring they are fit for purpose. On-hire and off-hire surveys then ensure both your company and the owners of the vessels are fully protected.
We can train and provide personnel as Marine Coordinators for Offshore Renewable sites, and we consistently supply personnel as Marine Cargo Operators, Marine Technical Authority, Marine Warranty Surveyors, Marine and Company Representatives and Heading Control to the Oil and Gas sector.
You can find more detail about specific services below:
We oversee the safe and efficient use of asset vessels during the construction, operational and decommissioning phases of an OREI. This type of work requires experience in extensive maritime operations, operating with rotary wing aviation assets, challenging environmental conditions, command and control of maritime emergency responses, and relevant experience in offshore installations with particular focus on OREI access systems.
Commonly, a weak area in the development of supporting evidence documents for OREI approval is the mandated ERCoP. We can help generate the ERCoP for its submission to the Marine Civil Authorities, and assist in its implementation, including offering training and conducting practice exercise.
We provide advice to utility companies and developers during the tender assessment phase, operational phase and decommissioning phase. Our broad knowledge of the handling characteristics of different types of vessels means we understand the impact on performance during inclement weather.
We can provide an on-board Client Representative during the project to resolve any issues and make sure the vessel is performing to its expected level. If the vessel needs to be changed for any reason, the Client Representative will be able to clarify the extra requirements, and Blue Wave Maritime will be on hand to identify other suitable vessels.
We provide advice and analytical services to assist developers in making decisions on access strategies for an OREI.
Through life approach to the services above covering:
Providing vessel suitability assessments whilst generating an optimised ERCoP for the types of vessels proposed in the access plan
Identifying suitable vessels for clients
On-hire surveys of the contracted vessels, Maritime Warranty Surveys, or sea trials on new purpose-built assets
Training and implementing ERCoP for the entire OREI site
Conducting Maritime Coordination for the entire OREI site
Providing on-board Client Representatives during the use of contracted vessels
Conducting off-hire surveys
